The New Brunswick Interscholastic Athletic Association has announced that Allyson Ouellette has been appointed the new Executive Director of its association effective June 1, 2012.
 
Allyson brings ten years of experience in School Sport Administration as the former Assistant Executive Director of the NBIAA. Her professional skills, energy and integrity were the key attributes that led to her selection.
 
Allyson graduated from Moncton High School and then received her Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree (Major in Sport Management) in 2001 from the University of New Brunswick. As a student-athlete, she was involved in school sports with the NBIAA, UNB and was a member of 1997 New Brunswick’s Summer Games Women’s Volleyball Team.
 
She and her husband, Patrick, have a two year old son named Sidd.
 
She will succeed Peter Corby who is retiring after thirteen years as the NBIAA Executive Director.
